This summer we offered 1,252 places on our summer scheme to 452 different young people. All places included a free hot meal or a packed lunch.
Our provision included a mixture of local activities using Community venues such as the Forum Cinema, Hexham Community Garden, East and West end parks, Hexham Community Centre and the Sele. We also went on several trips - old favourites such as the beach and 'teen only' day in Blackpool and a new trip to Ninja Warrior.
Our Young People were involved in the planning of the summer scheme and regularly give us feedback and new ideas, including on the meal choices too! We are so grateful for the continued support of the Hexham Community and from our general funders; the Holiday Action Fund, Karbon Homes, Trinity Methodist Church and the Rank Foundation.
