Summer Playscheme
HYI's playscheme ran from 3rd August for 3 weeks for children aged 8 - 13 years old. We ran activities in the East and West of Hexham which included crafts, willow weaving, graffiti art, bike maintenance, making healthy smoothies & wraps, talent show, etc.

Over the 3 weeks local kids also had the opportunity to do activities at Wentworth Leisure Centre such as swimming, boxercise, trampolining, dance mats, football and other team games.

Over 200 people came on our community trips which included a day at Druridge Bay, a visit to Kielder's Bird of Prey Centre and a trip to Flamingoland.

Additional trips were organised to Whitehouse Farm, the Hancock Museum and the Sealife Centre.
