Our aims : Things to do :

Our aim is to help young people reach their full potential through helping them to develop their life and social skills.

We do this through :

  • Building positive relationships with our members
  • Offering them the opportunity to try new things, through projects like Different Views
  • Developing new skills by encouraging them to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award and to make Keyfund applications.
  • Giving them the chance to have their voices heard by getting involved in youth committees at local, regional and national levels.

Hexham Youth Initiative offers all young people in the Hexham area the chance to get together and meet new people in a safe, friendly environment and have fun! We are open to everyone, regardless of background and are fully accessible to people with physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
